MYCOREN-V
Mycoren V is a brand of Nystatin, an antifungal antibiotic used in the treatment of candida vaginitis in women by inserting the Pessaries high into the vagina using the applicator. Nystatin is both fungicidal and fungistatic “in vitro, against a wide variety of yeast and other fungi like yeast. It is effective against a variety of both pathogenic and non pathogenic species of candida, especially candida albicans.

Mechanism of action:
Nystatin exerts its effect by interaction with cell walls and cell membranes. Sterols present in the cell membrane are necessary for this effect. Nystatin has both fungistatic and fungicidal effects.
Side effect
In pregnancy, care should be taken when using the applicator provided to prevent the possibility of mechanical trauma.
Contraindications:
There are no known contraindications to use of Mycoren V Pessaries, except Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients.
